If you thought the Chevrolet Bolt rode into the sunset – think again! Knowing our customers wanted an affordable gateway to electric vehicle ownership and loved the versatility of the original, Chevrolet has revived the Volt for the 2027 model year, making it one of the most affordable EVs on the market.

The 2027 Bolt is a handsome vehicle, boasting many of the great styling cues of our larger Equinox EV and Blazer EV models – including LED lighting at every corner – but distilled into a smaller, more parking-friendly package. The Bolt is available in both LT and RS trim levels, the latter offering a sportier exterior look thanks to black trim and black-finished 17-inch alloy wheels.

Inside is more change than before. A new 11-inch diagonal driver display provides clear and comprehensive information to the driver, while an 11.3-inch touchscreen display controls audio and connectivity features. It also leverages Google Built-In technology; with a press of a button, Google Assistant can help you tune to your favorite radio station, navigate to a new destination, or handle other common tasks. If you add the Technology Package, your 2027 Bolt RS will come with an HD surround view camera, a review camera mirror, a wireless phone charger, and more.

You can also add the Super Cruise hands-free driver assistance technology feature for the first time in Bolt’s history. That will allow you to drive over 600,000 miles of compatible roadways across North America by simply letting it drive you for miles at a time. The 2027 Bolt is also the most affordable vehicle to offer this feature in our lineup.

We talk about practicality for the 2027 Bolt. When it comes to cargo, it will take 16.2 cubic feet behind the rear seats, which expands to 56.2 cubic feet when they are lowered. You can also seat up to five people inside comfortably in EvoTex-trimmed seats with red accents, creating a sporty vibe inside the 2027 Bolt RS.

Powering every Bolt is a single 210-horsepower motor driving the front wheels. It ius fueled by a 65-kilowatt-hour battery that is recharged through a new North American Charging Standard (NACS) port. This new port increases the charging rate to 150 kilowatts. That will get your 2027 Bolt to recoup energy from 10% to 80% in just 26 minutes at a DC Fast Charger. When your battery is full, your 2027 Bolt can go for a rated 255 miles.

This is more than just the return of our first fully electric vehicle. This is a new gateway towards owning something that started our gasoline pump-free trajectory several years ago.
